Meet Marisol

Marisol Lugo is a dedicated community leader, mental health professional, and advocate for families across Orange County. Born in Chicago and raised in Puerto Rico, Marisol Lugo brings a rich multicultural background and deep appreciation for the diversity that makes Orange County a vibrant community.

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, bringing both professional expertise and community expertise to her vision for public education. With more than a decade of experience serving children, families, and individuals in the mental health field, she understands the real challenges students, parents, and educators face every day.

As a mother and community advocate, Marisol believes strong schools begin with strong leadership, accountability, and parents who are truly heard. She is running for School Board District 2 to bring faith-centered leadership, integrity, and real service to our schools and community.

Service, discipline, faith, and commitment to others are values that have shaped my life and my family.

As a mother of two sons serving in law enforcement and a daughter serving in the United States Army, I understand the true meaning of sacrifice, responsibility, and service to our community and our country.

For years, I have worked alongside families, students, and our community—listening, supporting, and helping where it matters most.

Serving on the School Board is not about politics for me. It is about purpose. It means leading with integrity, supporting our teachers, protecting student well-being, and making sure parents always have a voice.

Strong schools are built when leadership is grounded in faith, accountability, and real connection to the people we serve.
